Hanovia was founded in 1924 and has been at the forefront in development of Ultra Violet (UV) technology for disinfection and chemical reduction applications for industry. From disinfecting process water and sugar syrup to more advanced applications such as de-chlorination and de-ozonation, we understand specific customer requirements and deliver exceptional quality. Our in-house design and development team creates lamp technology that is engineered to work harmoniously with our customers’ processes. Through ongoing investment in R&D, such as our UV Application Centre where we push the boundaries of UV science using cutting-edge technology and software, we design and build highly efficient UV systems optimised to meet specific applications.

Customer relationships are important to Hanovia and we develop ongoing industrial partnerships that deliver market-aligned products engineered to the highest standards. These products are proven through successful service in thousands of installations worldwide. Lamp Manufacture

Hanovia has been manufacturing UV lamps since the company was created in 1924. With over 90 years’ experience in the research and development of UV lamps and systems for germicidal and photolysis applications, we offer unrivalled knowledge of lamp manufacture. This is coupled with our continual search for improvements in lamp technology and manufacturing processes.

Hanovia is widely recognised as being a world leader in the manufacturing of a complete UV package for industrial applications. Our policy is one of continuous improvement, with an ongoing capital investment programme ensuring we always employ best practice in line with industrial requirements.

Our facilities and our skilled staff ensure the highest quality of production. Our flexible manufacturing system also ensures we offer very short lead times for spare lamp delivery – usually with same-day despatch.
