Hanovia was founded in 1924, and since that time has been a pioneer in the development of UV technology for disinfection and chemical reduction applications.

Our base is in Slough, UK which is located near London’s Heathrow airport. From here our teams of scientists and engineers design, develop and manufacture advanced UV systems for a wide range of industrial and leisure industry application. Uniquely we also have our own UV lamp manufacturing plant producing a wide variety of UV lamps.

Hanovia has delivered more than 50,000 UV systems World-wide, and to support this ever-growing customer base we operate a comprehensive service, support and spares operation.

For the past 30 years Hanovia has been a part of Halma plc, a British engineering group specialising in safety, health and environmental industries, with combined revenues approaching £500 million. Halma is listed on the London Stock Exchange (ticker: HLMA) with a market capitalisation of over £1 billion, and is a component of the FTSE 250.
